23th Anniversary - Transformation. "Thread painting" Juan Varela is a talented self-taught artist. He achieved international recognition for his innovative artistic style "thread painting", a beautiful embroidery technique that he developed in Riverside, CA in 2019. Varela's "thread painting" involves a stunning fusion of embroidery art and 3D design, often creating visually and emotionally engaging pieces that leave a lasting impression. His fine art has captured the attention of numerous art lovers, collectors and organizations, including The White House Historical Association, Washington, D.C. In 2004. Juan Varela began in 2003 his career in the visual arts creating sculptures in red clay, later, he worked part-time with the acrylic painting technique, and since 2019, he has been working full-time with the technique of thread painting/Embroidery art, completing 23 years as a visual artist.
