We are taking cleanliness to a new level by implementing an aggressive health and sanitization program to complement the already rigorous standards in place at Augustine Casino. We take pride in being your preferred casino and are committed to providing exceptional service and experience for our guests and team members alike.

The following protocols and procedures are in place to safeguard the health of our guests and team members.

We greatly appreciate your compliance, patience and cooperation at this time as these protocols and procedures are only possible and effective with your help.

MicroShield 360 is an EPA registered and FDA approved coating system that imparts a biostatic finish and prevents bacteria, viruses and mold from living on surfaces. This technology has been applied to all surfaces throughout the casino.

While the team at Augustine Casino is making every effort to provide enhanced health and safety measures, risks remain. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. By visiting Augustine Casino, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

A Public Safety officer will greet each guest at the main entrance to the casino. They will ensure that each guest is wearing a cloth or surgical mask without valves, vents or openings, take their temperature using a non-touch laser forehead thermometer and ask them to use the provided hand sanitizer. Appropriate signage will be prominently displayed outlining safety guidelines and current physical distancing practices in use throughout the casino. Should lines form at the doors, markers will be placed on the ground to indicate distances of six feet to allow for social distancing while in line.

Guests will be advised to practice physical distancing by standing at least six feet away from other groups of people. Restaurant tables, slot machine chairs and other physical layouts will be arranged to promote appropriate distancing. Employees will be reminded not to touch their faces and to practice physical distancing by standing at least six feet away from guests and other employees whenever possible.

Smoking is temporarily not allowed inside the casino. Please enjoy your cigarettes and vape pens outside at the designated smoking areas.

Hand sanitizer dispensers, touchless whenever possible, will be placed at key guest and employee entrances, throughout the casino floor, at points of sale and at restaurant entrances.

Front and back of house signage will be posted reminding employees and patrons of protocols and hygiene. Where lines tend to form, floor markers will be placed to designate 6 feet spacing.

Employees are instructed to stay home if they do not feel well and are instructed to contact a manager or public safety officer if they notice a coworker or guest with a cough, shortness of breath, or other known symptoms of COVID-19.

Correct hygiene and frequent handwashing with soap is vital to help combat the spread of any virus. All team members have been instructed to wash their hands (for 20 seconds) or use sanitizer when a sink is not available every 60 minutes and after any of the following activities: using the restroom, sneezing, touching the face, blowing the nose, cleaning, sweeping, mopping, smoking, eating, drinking, entering and leaving the gaming floor, going on break and before or after starting a shift.

All team members will receive training on COVID-19 safety and sanitization protocols. More comprehensive training will be provided for Housekeeping, Cleaners, Food & Beverage and Security.

Appropriate PPE will be worn by all team members based on their role and responsibilities and in adherence to CDC guidance. Training on how to properly use and dispose of all PPE will be mandatory. Every team member entering the casino will be provided a mask and required to wear that mask while on property. Gloves will be provided to team members whose responsibilities require them including housekeeping, food and beverage, Cage and Players Club and security officers in direct contact with guests.

Team Member pre-shift meetings will be conducted virtually or in areas that allow for appropriate physical distancing between team members. Larger departments will stagger team member arrival times to minimize traffic volume in the back of house corridors. Hand sanitizer will be available at the timeclock location and team members will be required to sanitize their hands after clocking in. Our leadership team will ensure constant communication and proper PPE and sanitization procedures are followed and updated per the latest expert guidance.

Our casino uses cleaning products and protocols which meet EPA guidelines and are approved for use and effective against viruses, bacteria and other airborne and bloodborne pathogens. We are working with our vendors, distribution partners and suppliers to ensure an uninterrupted supply of these cleaning supplies and the necessary PPE.

The frequency of cleaning and sanitizing will be increased in all public spaces with an emphasis on frequent contact surfaces including, but not limited to, door handles, self-service kiosks and ticket redemption machines, slot machines, counters, tables, chairs and bathrooms.

The frequency of cleaning and sanitizing will also increase in high traffic back of house areas with an emphasis on the team member dining room, team member entrance, wardrobe area, team member restrooms, loading docks, offices and training classrooms.
